Phenolic resin for friction parts

Introduction:

It has good thermal resistant, high thermal decomposition temperature, low TG loss, and appropriate curing rate & flowability. We developed four series of phenolic resins: cashew oil modified, epoxy modified, NBR modified and alkyl phenol modified. The epoxy modified series has a better bonding property with metal fibre. The other three serieses with better flexibility are ideal for friction parts with high NVH requirement.

Application:

Used in disc brakes, drum brakes, clutch facing, steel back adhesives, train breaks and industrial breaks.
